| The effluent gases from the nitric acid concentration plants or from nitration plants contain NOx. PLINKE developed a special high effective absorption system to recover HNO3 from NOx and to purify the effluent gas down to the values required by the authorities, which are normally max. 100 - 200 ppm. NOx is transferred into HNO3, whereby no chemicals, but solely water and atmospheric air is used. |
