| Patent granted to PLINKE regarding a Process for Reduction of Waste Water in the Production of DNT |

PLINKE developed a process for reduction of wastewater in the production of DNT (Dinitrotoluene).
Combining stream management with intermediate treatment and recycling of process water streams allows reducing the amount of necessary fresh water and also the total amount of wastewater.
The water condensate from the sulfuric acid reconcentration plant is purified and can be used for wasching the DNT product.
