In 1947 our todays Plinke GmbH was founded by Mr. Adolf Plinke. He continued his long-standing activity in the field of acid and exhaust air treatment in his own company, placing em-phasis on the concentration and recycling of sulphuric and nitric acid as well as the purification of nitrous fumes to recover the nitric acid. Later on, the processes have been expanded by ef-fluent water treatment, hydrochloric acid purification during waste combustion and by adiabatic nitrobenzene technology.
