In 1996 PLINKE developed and used micro reactors for parameter screening in the PLINKE adiabatic nitration process. The results have been successfully used for design, engineering and commissioning of an industrial plant with a capacity of 80.000 tons per year Nitrobenzene. Based on the experience PLINKE applied micro reactors in the laboratory for further improvement of the process. The data have been verified in the industrial scale plant.
